Try our new library search platform

Tell us what you think

It’s here! We launched a new platform for searching, browsing, and accessing books, journals, and articles — Search Our Collections — and we’re eager for you to try it.

Try it out
Ready to search? Do a Quick Search, the default search on the Libraries homepage – this aggregates results from several library search tools, and from the results you can connect to the new platform.

There are also three ways to go straight to the new platform:

  • Under “Search” in the main navigation – see “Search Our Collections”
  • From the search box on the homepage, click on “Advanced search” under the search box. Or switch to the “Books and media” or “Articles and chapters” tabs, which will run the search in the new tool
  • Use this link: https://libraries.mit.edu/search-collections/

Tell us what you think
Your feedback helps us to make Search Our Collections as effective as possible. We encourage you to try it out now and let us know what is or isn’t working well, especially as we gear up for the beginning of the fall term. Submit feedback
