Barker collections

Subjects

The Barker Engineering Library provides an entrée to world-class materials in aeronautics and astronautics, civil and environmental engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and ocean engineering. The collections for biological engineering and materials science are shared between Barker and Hayden Library.

Barker supports multidisciplinary research in engineering by encompassing the topics of energy, environment, and transportation. The collections include both the historical and the cutting-edge, with books, journals, standards, technical reports, and working papers available physically or virtually.

    Print or electronic access to standards from IEEE, ASTM, ANSI, SAE, and other organizations
  • Technical Reports
    The historical print collection includes reports from the Research Laboratory of Electronics, the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and the Ralph M. Parsons Laboratory for Water Resources and Hydrodynamics, among others. More recent reports are available online.
