Services
We help MIT faculty and researchers manage, store, and share data they produce.
Assistance with creating data management plans
Many research funders have requirements for data sharing and data management plans. We can help you to create these plans, assess the data management needs of your project, and help you to identify data management solutions.
Consultations
We are available to help you, your lab, or center understand your data management needs and recommend best practices for keeping your data usable, now and into the future. Email data-management@mit.edu to request an in-person or virtual consultation.
Workshops
Our workshops teach you how to manage your data more efficiently and help you to share your data with others. See a schedule of upcoming workshops.
MIT DOI Service
The MIT DOI minting service allows MIT community members seeking to establish a repository to work as clients of MIT Libraries through Data Management Services (DMS) to create DOIs for their repository at no cost. Learn more about the MIT DOI Service.
