Looking for information on translucent concrete? Or durable fabrics?

The MIT Libraries now have a membership to the popular materials database Material ConneXion. The searchable database of materials includes photographs, processing information, usage properties, and a short description of the material, along with manufacturer contact information.

Our connection isn’t just limited to the database, however. Institutions with annual memberships, like MIT, are eligible to visit the Material ConneXion office in New York City by appointment to view and interact with samples of new materials selected monthly. For more information on this exciting opportunity, contact Material ConneXion New York via email at info@materialconnexion.com, or call 917-934-2800.

MIT faculty, students, and staff can access the new resource by visiting http://libraries.mit.edu/get/mconnexion.
