Join us for machover-tod-700“Recent Music for Pianos, Hyperensemble and Cities,” a talk by Tod Machover, Muriel R. Cooper Professor of Music and Media, MIT Media Lab. This event is part of the MTA Composer Forum series.

Machover also directs the Opera of the Future Group at the MIT Media Lab. He is recognized for his innovative and influential compositions, especially his visionary operas, and for inventing new technologies for music, such as Hyperinstruments, “smart” performance systems that extend expression for virtuosi as well as for the general public.
