Finals are done and graduation has passed, which means that the semester is officially over! Kick off your summer by celebrating Great Outdoors Month throughout June. This celebration was started as Great Outdoors Week in 1998 by President Bill Clinton. It grew over the years into what is now a month-long celebration honoring nature and its benefits to the world.
The Libraries have all sorts of materials to help you learn more about the great outdoors or things that you can check out and enjoy while in the great outdoors. Who doesn’t love a good beach read or a guidebook to reference while backpacking in a new place?
Feel free to browse the lists below for things that might spark your interest, or search WorldCat to request items that MIT doesn’t own.
Now get out there and enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer!
