Future of Libraries Preliminary Report: Share your feedback by February 15

Open-domeInput from across the Institute — and beyond — has been critical to the Future of Libraries Task Force as it develops a bold vision for the MIT Libraries and research libraries globally. With the preliminary report released, the task force continues to seek feedback that reflects the diverse needs and perspectives of our communities. Your participation will enable the task force to finalize its report.

We encourage you to share your thoughts on any of the report’s 10 recommendations, using one of two ways:

  • Comment on PubPub, an open-source publishing platform developed in the MIT Media Lab, where several discussions are already ongoing
  • Email the task force at future-lib@mit.edu

The open comment period will close on February 15, 2017. The task force thanks you for your enthusiastic and thoughtful contributions, which have enriched this process and helped us produce an inspiring vision for the future.
