John Southard, a world renowned and respected geologist and professor emeritus in MIT’s Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, is an open cross-dresser. A Chance To Dress follows Southard’s challenges and difficulties in coming out at the age of 65 to his friends, neighbors, and colleagues, but also his exuberance and sense of liberation after a lifetime of secrecy.
