Changes coming to Libraries’ kiosk in Stata Center

Alternate book drop locations while Forbes Cafe construction takes place

Stata Center book dropUpdate (10/19/2015): The ease of returning your books is back! The Stata Center book drop is now open, but the location has changed to the other side of the “big orange box”.

Look for the large silver book drop, located between the Starbucks back counter and the renovated cafeteria space.

Happy returning!

With changes coming to Student Street and Forbes Cafe in the Stata Center, the Libraries’ kiosk, also known as the Information Intersection, will be receiving an update for the summer. Renovations on Forbes Cafe are set to start on Monday, June 8th and end approximately on July 20th. During construction, the Library’s book drop in Stata will be on summer vacation.

In the mean time, library materials may be returned to any library location on campus. For after-hours returns, you may place your materials in any one of our book drops:

  • Building 14 – Hayden Library
  • Building 10 – (by elevators on 1st floor)
  • Building E53 – Dewey Library
  • Building 7 – Rotch Library

Once construction has been complete, the space will re-open and the book drop will be available once again. The Libraries will also remain visible in the newly renovated Forbes Cafe with multiple video monitors located in the upper areas of the cafe. These monitors will highlight library resources, services, and collections.
