The MIT Libraries will be observing Constitution Day, Monday, September 17. On this day in 1787, delegates to the Constitutional Convention gathered in Philadelphia to sign the final draft of the U.S. Constitution, establishing the framework of the United States government and the rights and freedoms of Americans.
The Libraries will celebrate by offering fold-up pocket constitutions to the MIT community. Stop by any library service desk and pick up your free constitution. Brush up on your constitutional knowledge and impress friends with your ability to quote the Bill of Rights!
We also have voter registration forms at library service desks. There’s still time to register before the mid-term elections in November.
And while you’re at it, check out our political science research guide to find information and resources available in the MIT Libraries.
