Archnet introduces new features

Enhancements include a mapping tool and improved slideshow view

Today, you will find two new and enhanced features on Archnet! A new mapping tool will aid in contextualizing the data with a global eye and allows users to pin sites on a world map to understand more fully their spatial relationships. New buttons in the slideshow view allow users to sort their results by location, type, or date.

Learn more by watching a how-to video on the new features, narrated by Michael Toler, Archnet Content Manager for AKDC@MIT.

For those new to the resource, Archnet is an open access, intellectual resource focused on architecture, urbanism, environmental and landscape design, visual culture, and conservation issues related to the Muslim world.  The site is co-directed by Aga Khan Documentation Center at MIT and Aga Khan Trust for Culture in Geneva, Switzerland.
