Featured country: France, 6,209 downloads. "I'm doing research on gender identity. As a student, I benefit from having institutional access to some publications, but not everything is accessible. Having openly available articles makes it easier to do quality research without using pirating as an option to read paywalled papers. It feels more respectful to people to have science not behind a barrier."The Open Access Collection of DSpace@MIT includes scholarly articles by MIT-affiliated authors made available through open access policies at MIT or publisher agreements.
