“The Economics of Scholarly Monographs” project is a reflection on the tension between the desire of scholars to share their work widely and openly and the need to fund the infrastructure and labor of publishing. This week, the Center for Research on Equitable and Open Scholarship (CREOS) has published a curated information resource that serves as a jumping off point for scholars to explore the effects of open availability on monograph revenues. The curated resource, which includes an extensive searchable bibliography, recommended resources, and a series of defined subject categories and subcategories, is available on the CREOS website.
