We are pleased to announce that most Hayden general collections are available for the MIT community to request for delivery, as construction on the Hayden Library renovation is now complete!
From our catalog:
- Select “Get MIT copy” (if you’re using Barton classic, select “Find it in the library/Request item”)
- Then select “Request item” in the catalog record
- Provide a delivery address
Our current delivery areas are:
- On-campus offices
- Campus dorms
- Any mailing address (no P.O. boxes) in the 50 U.S. states or Canada.
Users who live outside of our current delivery areas are encouraged to reach out to us so that we may assist you in getting the resources you need.
Digital copies can also be requested by selecting “Request digital copy” in the catalog record.
Note: Items that are currently available electronically via HathiTrust or the Internet Archive will remain available online only, in order to ensure equitable access to community members beyond the campus, especially internationally.
All library buildings remain closed until further notice, but help is available remotely. See our service updates page for the latest information on library services for the spring.
