| MIT's longtime interest in energy is the focus of an exhibit in the Libraries' Maihaugen Gallery. The exhibit showcases "energy resources" in the MIT Libraries that have supported and resulted from research and education throughout the Institute's history. Included are books and articles from historical collections, examples of rich working collections, theses by MIT students, and video (see below) highlighting MIT's current efforts in energy research. |

| Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor and the family of Paul G. Gregory III, the once blank corridor wall outside the Institute Archives has been transformed into a literal window into MIT's remarkable special collections. With a secure, climate controlled space, the Libraries now have a public place to showcase rare documents, photographs, books, maps, artwork, and more from the Libraries' unique collections. | ![]() |
| The Libraries look forward to sharing treasures from these collections in an ongoing series of exhibits. | |
