ChemDraw software re-registration

The MIT Libraries, with financial support from the Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science & Engineering, has continued the subscription of ChemDraw software to make it available for the MIT community.

If you already have ChemOffice, including ChemDraw, installed on your computer:

As of today, you will be asked to re-register. Fill out the re-registration form and you can re-activate either on the web or by email. If you do not have your serial number easily available, sign into the CambridgeSoft membership web site. Your user name is your MIT email address, and if you have forgotten your password, use the web site help for resetting your password. Once you have signed in, click on “My downloads” on the right side of the screen, and you will see your serial number.

After re-activation, you will receive an email from CambridgeSoft confirming the renewal and instructions to re-install the software. Re-installation is not necessary to do right away, since there are no major upgrades on the software, but you probably will want to do it at some point. (You will have to reboot the computer the changes to take an effect.)

Are you a Mac user?  See the Libraries’ ChemDraw guide for Mac re-registration.

If you do not have ChemDraw installed on your computer:

Visit the Libraries’ ChemDraw guide for for more information and for installation instructions.
