First 3 features...
4. Spell checker
Fewer worries about spelling mistakes, since an alternate or corrected spelling will be suggested.

5. Easier to see formats
Different icons are displayed for different formats, including books, internet resources, visual materials, articles, musical scores, sound recordings, CDs, and DVDs.

6. Grouping of different editions on one record
No need to wade through a different record for each edition of a book, since all editions are linked from one main record for the item.
7. Simple to cite items and save your citations
When you're looking at a record, you're a click away from finding the proper citation format in several different styles. Records can be exported to EndNote, RefWorks, and Zotero quickly.

8. Links to electronic copies of journals
Click on "Check for Electronic Resources" buttons to try to get electronic access to the full article. You'll see full articles when we have access, or if not, you'll be directed to other ways to get the article, either in the MIT Libraries or beyond.

9. User profiles
Create a public or private profile with your personal information, and link to lists of items you've created in MIT's WorldCat.

10. Easy bookmarking
Save records to del.icio.us and other social bookmarking sites, and create "permalink" URLs that will persist.

11. See Amazon reviews and "Buy It Now"
See ratings and reviews from
Amazon users. Buy the book from Amazon, or use the "Buy It Now" link to donate proceeds to support libraries.

12. Relevancy ranking and sorting
Results will be ranked by relevancy as a default, but you can choose to sort by author, title, or date.
