DIRC, the Digital Instruction Resource Center

What is the DIRC?

The Digital Instruction Resource Center (DIRC) is a hands-on computer classroom supported by the MIT Libraries.

It is used primarily for instructing faculty, students, and staff in the use of library resources such as

  • subscription databases
  • Barton
  • other library-supported software (e.g. GIS, RefWorks)
