The Quiet Reading Room, East Study Room, and Oasis, popular areas for quiet study, are available 24\/7 with MIT ID, beginning Monday, March 4.<\/p>\n<p>Community members with an MIT ID can now access floors 1, 1M, and 2 in Hayden Library 24 hours a day. In response to input from the MIT community expressing a desire for more quiet 24-hour study space, Hayden Library\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/libraries.mit.edu\/hayden\/renovation\/\">renovation<\/a> in 2021 dramatically increased 24\/7 space. With this additional space now available and the launch of 24\/7 study in Rotch Library this fall, the Libraries continue to respond to community needs.<\/p>\n<p>Access to the Hayden basement stacks remains available during regular <a href=\"https:\/\/libraries.mit.edu\/hours\/\">staffed library hours<\/a>.
