The fund was a huge success in its first year: We approved funding for 33 books written by researchers across 17 departments and all five schools on campus. Nearly 80 percent of the books are published by university presses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Many of these books \u2013 mostly monographs, but also a textbook, a handbook, and an autobiography by legendary MIT mathematics professor <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archivesspace.mit.edu\/repositories\/2\/resources\/600\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Norbert Wiener<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 are now published and open access, including a dozen from MIT Press.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here they are &#8212;
