Black Drama (Third Edition) contains more than 1,700 scripts from playwrights from North America, English-speaking Africa, the Caribbean, and other African diaspora countries. It includes many rare and previously unpublished works by writers such as Langston Hughes, Ed Bullins, Willis Richardson, Amiri Baraka, Randolph Edmonds, and Zora Neale Hurston as well as contemporary works by figures such as Dominique Morisseau, August Wilson, Somalia Seaton, and Barbara Molette. Coverage begins in the mid-1800’s and continues to the present.
