The MIT Libraries are pleased to offer delivery service to provide access to MIT-owned physical collections.

This service, which began September 28, includes shipping of circulating collections to MIT faculty, students, and staff. Users can select “Request item” in the catalog; they will be asked to provide a current address for delivery, which can include:

  • A dorm on campus
  • An office on campus
  • Any mailing address in the U.S. or Canada (other international users should request a digital copy via the Suggest a Purchase form)

In addition to this delivery service, the Libraries are also offering digital copies of physical collections, including Distinctive Collections, by request. Millions of online resources, remote consultations, and other services are also available while the library spaces remain closed.
