Could your dog be a therapy dog?

Be a part of therapy dog events on campus

We’re seeking MIT-affiliated dog owners interested in having their dogs certified as therapy dogs. Once your dog is registered, you can attend events such as the MIT Libraries’ Furry First Fridays or the student-run Puppy Lab.

Here’s what’s involved:

  • Take a short online course offered by Pet Partners in association with the Paws for People therapy dog program at Tufts Veterinary School
  • Complete an on-campus training on August 4 with Pet Partners
  • Once your dog is registered, volunteer for MIT therapy dog events sponsored by MIT Puppy Lab, MIT Libraries, and others.
