We welcome you to explore &#8212;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/digital-exhibits.libraries.mit.edu\/\">Digital Exhibits<\/a><br \/>\nBrowse digital exhibitions that highlight MIT history or feature the MIT Libraries&#8217; collections.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/distinctive-collections\/women-at-mit\">Women@MIT<\/a><br \/>\nThe Women@MIT archival initiative aims to highlight MIT\u2019s women faculty by acquiring, preserving, and making accessible their personal archives. The project is made possible through the generous support of Barbara Ostrom \u201978 and Shirley Sontheimer.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/pomeroy\/\">Herb Pomeroy Jazz Collection<\/a><br \/>\nThe Herb Pomeroy Jazz Collection was generously donated\u00a0by the Pomeroy family. This rich collection contains materials spanning from the early 1940s to Pomeroy\u2019s passing in 2007. It showcases Pomeroy\u2019s musical and teaching careers, as well as his personal life.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/letterlocking.org\">Letterlocking<\/a><br \/>\nLetterlocking refers to the technology of folding and securing an epistolary writing substrate to function as its own envelope \u2013 a vital communications technology before the invention of the mass-produced envelope in the 19th century.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/150books\/\">150 Years in the Stacks<\/a><br \/>\nThis online exhibit took shape during MIT\u2019s sesquicentennial celebration in 2011. Each day for 150 days, we shared a single item from the Libraries\u2019 collections, each item representing one of the years since MIT\u2019s founding in 1861. On day one, we showed an item published in 1861.
