We are in the north wing of the building, facing Eastman Court and Building 18.<\/p>\n<p>There are two public entrances to Building 14:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the southwest corner of Building 14, accessible from Memorial Dr.<\/li>\n<li>In the northeast corner of Building 14, facing McDermott Court (pedestrian access only).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Reading Room is less than 0.4 miles from the MBTA Kendall\/MIT subway train stop.<\/p>\n<p>Street address:<br \/>\nMIT Distinctive Collections<\/p>\n<p>160 Memorial Drive<br \/>\nBuilding 14N, Room 118<br \/>\nCambridge, MA 02139<\/p>\n<p>*Please note there is also a Building E14 on MIT\u2019s campus. The Distinctive Collections Reading Room is in <a href=\"https:\/\/whereis.mit.edu\/?go=14\">14<\/a>, in the north wing of the same building that houses Hayden Library.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col col--center-small\">\n<div class=\"stack\">\n<h3>Biking<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Blue Bikes<br \/>\n<\/strong>There are several <a href=\"https:\/\/account.bluebikes.com\/map\">Blue Bike docks<\/a> located near the Reading Room:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Main St. and Ames St.<\/li>\n<li>Carleton St. at Amherst St. (Next to MIT Health and the MIT Media Lab)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bike racks<br \/>\n<\/strong>There are bike racks located near both entrances to Building 14. We recommend using bike locks to secure your bike.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Public Transportation<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Subway:<\/strong><br \/>\nTake the MBTA Red Line to the Kendall\/MIT station<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bus:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbta.com\/stops\/2231\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">64, 68, and 85<\/a> lines stop at the Kendall\/MIT station. The <a href=\"https:\/\/mbta.com\/schedules\/1\/line\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#1 bus<\/a> stops on Massachusetts Avenue, about 0.5 miles away. The free <a href=\"https:\/\/charlesrivertma.org\/route-and-stops\">EZRide shuttle<\/a> stops on Ames St. near Main St.<\/p>\n<h3>Parking<\/h3>\n<p>Parking in Cambridge is expensive and hard to find. Whenever possible, we suggest you use public transportation or a rideshare or taxi service.<\/p>\n<p>Nearby parking options include metered 2-hour parking on Memorial Drive or <a href=\"https:\/\/web.mit.edu\/facilities\/transportation\/parking\/visitors\/public_parking.html\">parking garages<\/a>.
