The collection contains records created between 1952 and 1988 while the following were department heads: Frederick Johnstone Adams, 1947-1957; John Tasker Howard, 1957-1970; Lloyd Rodwin, 1970-1974; Langley C. Keyes, 1974-1978; Lawrence E. Susskind, 1978-1982; Gary A. Hack, 1982-1986; and Tunney F. Lee, 1986-1990. The collection contains reports and memoranda about curriculum, internships, conferences, and research opportunities especially for the Master in City Planning program; financial planning and assistance to students; annual and affirmative action reports; and humorous drawings of Scollay Square Boston, by department faculty members Frederick J. Adams, Roland B. Greeley, Burnham Kelly, and Lloyd Rodwin. Also included are records prepared for department visiting committees.
