Applicants should have access to robust internet connections and their own computer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Term of employment: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The initial term of employment will be six months from the date of hire, with the possibility of extension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Required Skills:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Experience with web programming and user interface design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Skilled with one or more of these programming frameworks\/languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/resources.workable.com\/ruby-on-rails-developer-job-description\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ruby on Rails<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ability to design API-centric application architectures<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Proficiency with office applications, particularly spreadsheets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meticulousness, resourcefulness, diligence and attention to detail<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>While the chosen candidate can be remote, applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States or Nigeria.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desired Qualifications: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Experience with database programming and Content Management System development<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ability to read in one or more languages other than English.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Background knowledge of architecture or architectural history\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Hours:\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">10 hours a week for a 1-3-week training\/trial period, ultimately increasing to as many as 35 hrs\/week\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Wage:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> $20\/hour<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Procedure: <\/b>Prepare a cover letter and <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">CV or resume including contact information for 2 references.
