Shortlisted projects were selected in January, and &#8220;are now undergoing rigorous investigations by a team of experts who visit and evaluate each project on-site.\u00a0 Their reports are the basis for the AKAA Master Jury\u2019s selection of the eventual laureates.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The current cycle is the 14th three-year cycle of the AKAA, first awarded at the end of the <a href=\"https:\/\/archnet.org\/collections\/139\">1977-1980 cycle<\/a>. This year&#8217;s winners will join 116 <a href=\"https:\/\/archnet.org\/collections\/51\">laureates of previous cycles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of the next few weeks, AKAA will be releasing one video per day with more information about the Awards and then on each of the shortlisted projects.
