Seeking Archnet Content Assistant

The Aga Khan Documentation Center at MIT (AKDC@MIT) is seeking an Archnet Content Assistant for the Fall Semester, with the possibility of extension. The assistant will work with the Archnet Content Manager to prepare submitted material (text, media, and data) for inclusion in Archnet.  Aspects of the work will be tailored to take advantage of the successful applicant’s skills and interests. is an open access library focusing on all aspects of the built environment in societies where Muslims are a significant cultural presence. It is a collaborative endeavor of AKDC@MIT and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.

AKDC@MIT, part of the Department of Distinctive Collections of the MIT Libraries, is a research center supporting documentation, scholarship, and teaching on the history and theory of architecture, urbanism, environmental and landscape design, visual culture, and conservation, as well as the practice thereof. It is associated with the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture, established in 1979 by a gift from His Highness the Aga Khan
