Course Reserves

What are course reserves?

Reserves are materials which have been set aside by a professor to be used specifically for a class. An item may be occasionally listed as "on reserve" in Barton, when in fact it is not currently being used for a class. A circulation assistant from the owning library will be able to assist you further.

For more information, see the Circulation FAQ or Placing Items on Course Reserves.

To request reserves in any MIT Library, use this form:

Reserves Request Form

For detailed information about reserves in specific libraries, see: Which library handles my reserves?
