Preparing Your Reading List

Reading lists should include all of the following information:

  • course number
  • names of instructors and teaching assistants
  • complete bibliographic citations
  • the date that each reading is due

Note: Make sure all your readings are included on this list.

Partial reading lists (i.e., readings for the first 5 weeks of the semester) will be accepted if they contain all of the information listed above.

Complete bibliographic citations for journal articles, book chapters, and other course material should be formatted in a consistent citation style. Examples of APA and MLA styles can be found in The Mayfield Handbook of Technical and Scientific Writing. (MIT only)
