Course Reserves
Converting
materials to digital format
Conversion to digital format is required for most materials. PDF
and HTML are the preferred formats for readings in electronic
course reserves. Library staff can provide assistance in linking
to the Libraries' licensed electronic resources.
The
MIT Libraries will pay the costs for converting materials to digital
format for use in Stellar. Costs for converting materials for courses
outside of E-Reserves/Stellar must be paid for by academic departments.
Document
services can convert readings directly from your reading list, or
scan readings from your photocopies and books. See
Scanning
for Web Courseware for more information.
