We have lots of search tools and services to help you find and get the articles, books, and other research materials you need.
Our main search tools – what they do best
|Best for articles and e-books. You can also find other e-resources, print books, and content owned or licensed by the MIT Libraries – it can be helpful to use the search filters in order to narrow the results. More about BartonPlus.|
|Vera||Best for e-journals and databases owned or licensed by the MIT Libraries. Don’t search for individual articles here.|
|Best for print books or specific library materials owned by the MIT Libraries (especially if you already know the author or title). Includes special searches for course reserves, conferences, theses, and more.|
|WorldCat||Best for books and other items not owned by the MIT Libraries. Using this interface, you can request items from Borrow Direct or Interlibrary Borrowing (ILB).|
