Shikha Sharma joins the MIT Libraries

Shikha Sharma headshotEarlier this fall Shikha Sharma, joined the MIT Libraries as the Librarian for Business and Management. She works with colleagues across several units to serve the Sloan School and the business and management needs of the MIT community across disciplines.

Please contact Shikha to discuss your teaching and research needs, arrange a library research session, or to develop research strategies. She can help you identify and leverage relevant business and management resources available at MIT Libraries and beyond. She also welcomes any suggestions or feedback you may have on our collections and services.

Prior to coming to MIT, Shikha worked at the University of Connecticut, where she is the Business, Economics, and Legal Studies librarian and also the Head of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Services.  In addition to these responsibilities, Shikha served on the Libraries‘ Collections Steering Committee and represented the Libraries on a university-wide Steering Committee on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.  She also brings experience in planning and administering campus-wide user surveys and leading a library instruction program.  Shikha has a very strong track record in developing effective and creative strategies for engaging with all students and faculty alike and she is eager to bring her skills and experience to the MIT Libraries.
