Are you an MIT staff member looking for access to local academic libraries? In addition to having borrowing privileges through ILB, Borrow Direct, and the BLC, all MIT staff are now eligible for reciprocal borrowing privileges at the Harvard College Library (HCL) and several Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS) Libraries. These expanded privileges came into effect this past summer and are a result of the Borrow Direct+ service.

MIT staff can apply for borrowing privileges by completing an online form and, once submitted, will be automatically approved for privileges to these Harvard libraries.
