Posted May 1st, 2006 by mit-admin

Dewey Library has long had access to high quality energy data in print format from the International Energy Agency. Now, we are pleased to be able to support energy research at MIT by offering access to IEA data in electronic format via the SourceOECD platform. The IEA package consists of the following databases composed of a number of time series:

  • CO2 Emissions from Fuel Combustion
  • Coal Information
  • Electricity Information
  • Energy Prices and Taxes
  • Energy Technology R&D
  • Natural Gas Information
  • Oil Information
  • Renewables Information
  • World Energy Statistics and Balances

Series include production, consumption, prices, supply, and demand. Data can be downloaded in several different formats.

NOTE: SourceOECD requires the use of Internet Explorer 6.
