The MIT Libraries now subscribe to ECS Plus, which includes access to all Electrochemical Society content and unlimited free credits to MIT authors who want to make their journal articles open access.

To take advantage of this free open access option:

• The choice to publish open access appears after you submit your manuscript to an ECS journal and fill out basic information about your article.
• Under “Open Access charges,” select the option that says you belong to an ECS Plus-subscribing institution. The article processing charge will then be waived.
• You will then choose one of two Creative Commons licenses for your article: Creative Commons Attribution, or Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial No derivatives.
