Get CDs for the weekend!

Check out up some CDs for your weekend listening! They would be due by closing (5 pm) next Monday. Here are some suggestions from the Lewis Music Library staff and student assistants:

CDs and DVDs circulate to members of the MIT community for three days (limit of 5, no renewals); the collection now contains nearly 14,000 CDs and over 500 DVDs. The Lewis Music Library’s summer hours are Monday – Friday, 11 am – 5 pm.

Faculty/staff: request your course reserves for the fall

Pre-1987 Proceedings of the IEEE now online

In June more than 12,000 papers and articles published in the Proceedings of the IEEE from 1963 to 1987 were added to the IEEE online collection. The journal’s contents from 1988 through the current issue are already available in digital format. Papers dating back to the first issue of the journal, published in 1913 as the Proceedings of the Institute of Radio Engineers (the name of an IEEE predecessor organization), will be online in early 2006.

Film journals now at Humanities Library

The film journals previously housed in the Rotch Library have relocated to the Humanities Library. Current issues are on the 2d floor and bound volumes are in the basement of the Hayden Library Building (14).
