In the understanding that these have been a hard few weeks for many, the MIT Libraries would like to offer you a sweet treat and a hot beverage before this week’s break. As our director Chris Bourg said in her recent statement, we “will always strive to be welcoming havens for all members of our communities.” The Thanksgiving holiday often gives rise to complicated feelings about family, home, belonging, colonialism, and genocide. Whatever your feelings about Thanksgiving, you belong in the MIT Libraries.

Please join us at Rotch, Barker, Dewey, Hayden, or the Lewis Music Library for apple pie bars and hot cider. The treats will be set up in mid-morning and will be available until we run out.

Please note our holiday hours include a 5pm closing on Wednesday for all locations.
