Peggy
Seeger, composer, musician, singer and activist, performed in concert
at MIT on Thursday, September 25, 2003. The artist was in residence
at MIT Sept 23-26. Among the best-known of Seeger's songs is “Gonna Be an Engineer,”
which became one of the anthems of the womens' movement.
