Mobile web site Beta

Many of the services featured on the MIT Libraries' web site are available from a mobile phone on the MIT Mobile Web.

MIT Mobile Web

To get to the MIT Libraries' mobile site, visit http://m.mit.edu from your mobile device's web browser, and click on the Libraries icon.

The site is currently optimized for iPhones. In the future, we plan to create versions optimized for other mobile phones.

Libraries' mobile site

From the Libraries' mobile site, you can:

  • View today's hours for each library
  • Ask questions
  • Read news from the MIT Libraries on our blog
  • Access the entire MIT Libraries web site
Ask Us! mobile site Use the Ask Us! page to:
  • Call us, or submit questions by web form
  • Request to meet with the librarian for your subject

Forms for Ask Us! and research consultations require MIT web certificates.

Hours in mobile site

On the Locations & Hours page, you can view:

  • Contact information
  • Daily hours
  • Maps
News blog on mobile site

The news page features stories from our news blog, optimized for viewing on mobile devices.

You can bookmark, email, tweet, or save each story.

Coming soon: Search library catalogs.
