Access is very simple. Simply click on the Your Account link while in the Barton catalog, or go to http://libraries.mit.edu/barton-account. Touchstone will securely allow you to use either your MIT certificates or your Kerberos ID and password to log in.
If you have any trouble accessing Your Account, please contact us via Ask Us! (MIT-only). |
Directions for users without Kerberos accounts but with library borrowing privileges
Privilege card holders, BLC members, spouses, etc. |
You can access Your Account via a Touchstone Collaboration Account.
If you are a new user without a Kerberos account, you must first register in person for a library account at any of the MIT Libraries' service desks and be sure to ask for access to Your Account.
If you are an existing user without a Kerberos account, you may use this form to contact a staff member who will help you register for Your Account, or simply visit any of the MIT Libraries' service desks.
In either case, you will be sent an email from the MIT Libraries explaining the steps for getting access to Your Account. |
