You may download the latest version Adobe Reader free of charge.

If you have trouble printing a PDF:

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader (see downloading instructions above).

  • Try printing one page at a time (your printer's memory may be too small).

  • Try saving the file to disk before printing

The Adobe Acrobat Reader is supported by MIT's Information Services & Technology: Software: Adobe Reader

Academic Computing has a PDF FAQ page that includes detailed information on viewing and printing PDF files on Athena. Because it is well supported and relatively easy to download and to use, Adobe Acrobat is usually the most convenient option for printing articles from electronic journals.
