Athena printing tips

When you print at an Athena workstation, you will be prompted to specify a printer. The basic Athena print command is:

lpr -Pprintername
Thus, if your prompt reads
/usr/athena/bin/lpr
you will need to complete the command as follows:
/usr/athena/bin/lpr -Pprintername

Detailed instructions may be found in the document Printing from Athena. See also the names, locations and statuses of Athena printers,

The Libraries encourage observing good Athena etiquette when printing from our electronic resources (see Printing Tips for Athena Users).
