Connection Files:

Connection files allow you to connect to library catalogs and other databases that support the z39.50 protocol. Users with older versions of EndNote can update their collection of files using EndNote's page of connection files available for downloading.

To download connection files:

  1. Click on the link for the file.
  2. Save the file into your Connections folder in your EndNote directory (found on your C:\ drive or in your C:\Program Files folder).

Mac users may need to configure their browsers to recognize EndNote connection files.

Specific connection information for:

Barton

Barton, the MIT Libraries' online catalog, can be searched using the Barton Connection file.
