Several international organizations use trade data to generate annual surveys and overviews of trading activity. These sources provide summaries and data analysis relevant for the study of the structure and patterns of international trade.

UNCTAD Commodity Yearbook
(Print)
From the UN Conference on Trade and Development, disaggregated data at the world, regional and country levels for production, trade, and consumption of selected agricultural primary commodities, minerals, ores, and metals. Data classified in SITC2.

UNCTAD Handbook of Statistics (Print)
From the UN Conference on Trade and Development, a series of statistics relevant for the analysis of international trade. Focuses on the structure of trade by region and by commodity. Compilations include rankings, growth rates, and shares. Classifications used and time periods covered are based on their relevance for statistical and other applicable analyses.

WTO International Trade Statistics (Print)
The World Trade Organization's annual summary of world trade. Provides an overview of trends and patterns by region and commodity. SITC3 is used for data on sectors and groupings. Prior to 2000, these statistics and analyses were included in the World Trade Organization's Annual Report.
