Barton, the MIT Libraries' online catalog, is available to all.
Databases as well as electronic journals and books to which the Libraries subscribe are available for use on-site in the MIT Libraries and can be accessed through Vera, our gateway to electronic resources. Please note that the use of some electronic resources even on-site is restricted by license agreements to current students, faculty and staff of MIT. All visitors must abide by the MIT Libraries Computer Use Policy.
We’re sorry but off-site access to databases, e-journals and e-books licensed by the MIT Libraries, even to alumni/ae with Libraries Privileges cards, is not permitted due to licensing restrictions in the contracts we must sign with our information providers.
