The MIT Libraries’ study spaces and furniture are well-used and loved by our students.

We continuously upgrade our furniture and equipment so study spaces remain safe, comfortable, and welcoming for the thousands of students who rely on them.

Your gift of $1,000 will allow for the purchase and "naming" of a chair to be used and appreciated by students for decades to come.

The Libraries will permanently affix a brass plaque to the chair purchased from your gift, including

the name of the honoree
your name, and
the achievement you are honoring.
