Daniel Sheehan Daniel Sheehan is a GIS programmer and analyst. He has helped people work with GIS in the MIT GIS Lab, in the classroom, and out in the field for the past 12 years. He spent the prior decade helping researchers use GIS at the Woods Hole Lab of the National Marine Fisheries Service and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mapping wherever he goes and works with a diverse set of tools including GIS on ruggedized tablets, Arcpad mobile GIS using Javascript, AppInventor on Android devices, and simple GPS receivers. Daniel is currently learning to develop software for field data collection on iPads.
Jennie Murack Jennie Murack is the Geospatial Data Librarian and Statistics Specialist for the MIT Libraries. She has a background in psychology, and, prior to arriving at Rotch Library, she conducted educational evaluation research. Outside of work she enjoys running, hiking, yoga, reading, and watching reality TV.
Heather McCann Heather McCann is the coordinator of reference services for Rotch Library as well as a GIS liaison at Rotch. When not helping people find answers to their questions, Heather spends as much time as possible outdoors—gardening, foraging, camping, skiing, hiking, and exploring new places, both urban and wild.
Anne Graham Anne Graham is the Civil & Environmental Engineering Liaison and the GIS Liaison to the Engineering & Science Libraries. Her secret loves are maps, geology, and cross country skiing.
