Individual viewing stations

• Two Pentium4 3.2ghz, with 2GB of ram
• VCRs attached to TV tuners and DVD ROMs

Group viewing area

• 48" plasma screen with MIT Cable
• computer inside the Media Room lecturn is a Pentium4 3.2ghz with 2GB of ram
• DVD/VCR player
• patrons can hook up a laptop to the TV and speakers with a provided cable at the lecturn
• external USB ports for use with thumb drives or external hard drives
• wireless as well as wired internet access
• video conferencing: Tandberg 880, IP address: 18.90.3.107; system is H.323 compatible (IP video-conferencing) and can only be used with other H.323 systems; see the Quick and Easy Guide to Video Conferencing in the Barker Media Room (pdf)
